The Erasmus Without Paper project was presented at the event that marked the Luxembourg Presidency of the Council of the EU, organised by the European University Foundation with the purpose of discussing the modernisation of the European Higher Education Area through student mobility. 

The Conference Higher Education Open Space focused on the future of student mobility. It gathered a wide range of participants from HEOs as well as high-level speakers and European Commission representatives who discussed the importance of attaining 20% student mobility by 2020 while also ensuring high quality standards of mobility. Valère Meus, EWP Co-ordinator explained the innovative approach of the EWP project pointing to its potential of shaping the student mobility landscape by rendering the administrative workflow of Erasmus paperless.
